Make it yours in three passes
- Start with your life. Define the routines, priorities and practical needs the room should serve.
- Connect the choices. Work through materials, storage, fixtures and the details that need to fit together.
- Know what needs approval. Identify what you decide and what your designer or trades need to verify.
A few questions worth asking early
- Can the dishwasher and the drawer beside it open at the same time?
- Where will the things you reach for every morning actually live?
- Can you reach the shower controls before stepping into the water?
Each edition combines 20 project-planning groups with 40 room-specific groups. Mark optional items “not part of my project.” There is no need to have every answer today.
